Respected Pete McCloskey is going after fellow repuke Doolittle
Of course the plug was pulled on his nifty freeway blog-like sign board. My question is: why did the billboard managers take Pete's money 30 days earlier if political messages are "prohibited"?
"Electronic advertisements attacking Republican Rep. John Doolittle were abruptly canceled Thursday night after managers of the giant billboard on Interstate 80 complained that the political messages are prohibited.
Since the first of the month, the nine-second spots had been running 400 times a day on the Roseville Auto Mall's giant electronic billboard - smack in the heart of Doolittle country.
An independent group organized by Pete McCloskey, a former Republican congressman from the Bay Area and a Doolittle critic, created the ads and signed a one-year $41,500 contract to run the spots on the glittering billboard."

1. I'm sure if, say, Move America Forward had bought an ad ...
... to bash liberals and Democrats, the Roseville Auto Mall would have no problem in taking their money and running their ad. Just as I would have no problem in not buying a car from those Repuke assholes.
