Police Officer Shot During Marijuana Bust

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- A police officer has been shot during a marijuana bust in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Action News is reporting.

A suspect in the bust is also believed to have been shot and a medical helicopter has landed at the scene to take both to a Bay Area hospital.

It's happening in a remote area near Wagner and Hicks roads.

There have been reports that some of the alleged perpetrators at the scene were armed with rifles and wearing camouflage.
