Long Beach vigil Carson and Bellflower

200+ people, lots of honking in support. only got called a hippie 3 times:) people of all ages, dogs. carried a "FIRE THE LIAR" sign:) KTLA had a cameraman there as well as KFWB and the local LB channel. tried my hardest to get my sign on the news.

2. I was there!

Along with howardx and my daughter, who is painfully shy. Kudos to the kid! It was her first time joining a vigil. She's never protested or let her voice be heard in any manner. I'm a proud momma tonight!

The organizer was a very nice lady who said she had never done anything like that before. I thanked her for getting the ball rolling and told her, see, one woman can do a lot!

Great turnout, great response from the passers by. It felt good to do it.

Don't know how I missed seeing this--would have LOVED to attend! Oh well, while this clown is still in office, I'm sure there will be many more opportunities to protest. LOL!

5. My baby girl was very proud of herself;)

She said she would be patting herself on the back for weeks to come:) I told her she SHOULD be proud! She is so gentle and so soft spoken and would never think to do anything to bring attention to herself. It really took a lot for her to do this. She even saved her candle remnant:) This could be the start of many wonderful things to come for her!

Woooooot! They just showed our group on KTLA!!!

No footage of howardx's sign though:( We figure Hal Fishman wasn't down with the anti-Bush sentiment:) Oh well! hehe!
