Schwarzenegger at the Stones: 19th PR Breakdown

Well, Schwarzenegger managed to give himself another disastrous PR day. Read the back story at the Cal Nurses' Stop Arnold Blog (www.cna.blogs.com/StopArnold).

Here's today's post:

It must have sounded so good when the fundraisers pitched it to him: an uber-exclusive, $100,000 fundraiser to be held at the Rolling Stones concert tour kick-off at Fenway Park.

California Nurses Shum's diary :: ::
Well let's see what went wrong:

-He didn't sell any of those tickets, the Boston Herald reported, and had to do a fire sale at the the $10k price

-California's nurses followed him there, and in conjunction with Massachusetts nurses passed out thousands of fliers reading "Rolling Stones Forever" on one side and "Stop Arnold No Sympathy for Sticky Fingers Schwarzenegger and flew a plane overhear towing a banner with "arnold's beast of burden: corporate cash.="> --Jagger's take on the situation: "People come from all over the world to see their concerts and there are people here from California tonight . Governor Arnold Schwarzeneggar is here tonight , he is having a fund-raiser. As a matter of fact, he was seen out in front of Fenway park tonight raising funds by scalping tickets and tee-shirts."

-latest pr fiasco widely covered in the media.

The point being? Even people outside California are learning what a corporate sleaze this Governor is.

snip...

"Protesters chanted "Arnold, Arnold you're no good, go on back to Hollywood" and carried signs, including some that read "Sticky Fingers for corrupt corporate cash," a reference to the classic 1971 Stones album, "Sticky Fingers."

3. I don't think he will run for Governor
but I will bet that he is thinking U.S. Senator :-(. He will fail.

"Pride goeth before the fall". I believe that old proverb and this guy (Arnie) has plenty of pride to spare.

4. How the props do in November
will be very telling. I think he is done. His 'pride' , I suspect, was not prepared for all the negative publicity. I just don't think he will want to take too much more. I know I can't.

5. Same here, I can't take seeing his face or listening to his voice
I was polled via telephone on Monday night. The first question was: " How do you view the performance of Gov. Schwarzenegger?" There wasn't a category low enough for my opinion, lol.

The other questions had to do with Prop. 78 and Prop. 79. I think the poll was trying to determine if there was enough advertising going on for these propositions.
