Interested in a clothing drive for Katrina?

Please state your interest here if you have clothing you would be interested indonating for Katrina survivors. Women's, men's, children's, baby's, etc., etc.

I'm also looking for people in areas that are interested in coordinating the efforts in their individuals cities/areas--so if you would be available for something like that, please let me know.

If you have knowledge of a specific person/site/area that has made themselves available as a shelter, please let us know that. We want to get in touch with those folks to ask if we could send them clothing to give to the Katrina survivors they will be accepting.

I'm not at all sure what I'm doing, right now. I'm just kind of moving in the direction that has moved me, so to speak...I'm coordinating as I go along, so please bare with me...

1. My city is holding a fundraising night

on the 15th , I'll find out if I can coordinate
with this . I'll let you know . otherwise my family
does have some stuff we could donate . Is there an
address to ship stuff too or should it go to the red
cross ?

2. I'm in the process of finding resources

such as pick up places, people that are willing to pick up supplies, etc.

Right now, we aren't trying to send to Red Cross as they just need and want money--and aren't accepting much else.

I've just seen several resources on CNN that I have to investigate further, but a few of those stated that they will pick up ANYTHING we have to give...

So I will be in touch on this thread and the other link I listed...

What will your city's fundraising night consist of? Are they primarily seeking funds?
