w/ 1240AM 'talkcity'? I stream it so I don't have 2 get up @ 3AM 2 listen 2 'Morning Sedition'. First their server was fdown for about a month - now 2day the sound cuts out - who owns this station? why don't they care about streamers?

This is in regards to the Christine Craft Show during the 5:00 pm hour on 9/13/05.
I have only been listening to the show since March of last year. I appreciate the fact that a liberal radio show exists, and that we now have a voice in talk radio.
I am disappointed, however, to hear Christine continue to make racially offensive comments about Hmong people. Today, she accused the Hmong people of "bludgeoning" puppies and kittens during animal sacrifice. Not only is this statement a racial generalization without any shred of evidence, it is obviously motivated by some personal vendetta against the Hmong people.
I would appreciate it if Christine would practice what she preaches. She criticizes President Bush, members of the media, and the Governernator for their treatment of minorities, yet she turns around and spews this negative rhetoric about Hmong people. Christine Craft needs to, first of all, educate herself about Hmong people, then she should apologize to the entire Hmong community. I wish there could be an end to this circle of ignorance.

3. And she has repeatedly invited Hmong community leaders

to come on her show to debate what she claims are facts. No one responds. Why not? Maybe there is some truth to what she has been saying regarding the opium abuse and pet killings?

come on, lets face it. her radio show, much like shows of that sort, serve one primary service... and that is entertainment. some people have too much dignity to partake in that sort of circus. though, i don't speak for any of these "leaders," i imagine they would prefer, and welcome, a different setting. like a town meeting perhaps.

aside from that, are you saying that just because no "leaders" respond, and if for some reason she is able to prove some of what she says, then it would make it right for her make slanderous generalizations about an entire race? if you and others really believe that kind of racial stereotyping is justified, then we have not come very far at all in the fight for civil rights.

Then we are in big trouble. You can damn well bet Fox and Rush Limbaugh aren't wasting time on dead house pets. That's just not the way to advance a political agenda.

I found the 1240 stream does not work as consistant as
I need .
