Bill Lockyer
Bill Lockyer has some really good ideas about economics (even though he's terrible on criminal law), but the main concern is that he's a close friend of Arnold's. He acknowledged voting for him last time and this time he's talking confidently about a Schwarzenegger victory. Although I think he'd make a decent treasurer, I am a little worried about his seeming inability to see Schwarzenegger for the bad guy he is. Last I heard most candidates had dropped out of the Treasurer's race. Does anyone know if anyone else is still in it?

1. Mark Saldino has a website that is active
I don't know much about him other than he has been Treasurer for Los Angeles County.

4. He's still listed on the politics1.com page for California
http://www.politics1.com/ca.htm as the only other candidate for the Democratic nomination. The webmaster seems to really keep up on races.

His website is that of an active candidate, but there appears to be no regular updating of the page. If he has dropped out. he really should indicate this on his site.

2. do you want a guy handling your money who was either gullible or...
corrupt enough to support Arnold?

Anyone who saw who was backing Arnold all the way up to Karl Rove should have known exactly what he was going to do.

5. Any Democrat who was publicly backing Arnold should be held
accountable for that idiotic choice. Look at what havoc the man has caused.
