In November 2008, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger proposed creating new taxes on certain services—including a sales tax of about nine percent on veterinary services—in order to reduce the state’s budget deficit. The ASPCA believes this action is ill-advised and will have a negative impact on the health and welfare of California’s pets.

What You Can Do
Please visit the ASPCA Advocacy Center to send a letter to Governor Schwarzenegger that asks him to delete the veterinary tax provision from his budget proposal.

4. WTF is it with this idiot and animals? Remember when he proposed

saving money by putting down shelter animals after 24 hours? That was in 2004 or so. I hate this guy.
