Garamendi to Finish Strong with Series of
Get Out the Vote Events in Race for Congress WALNUT CREEK – Lieutenant Governor John Garamendi’s congressional campaign will finish strong with four days of a Get Out the Vote Drive now through September 1st.
“We’ve got the momentum, a great team of volunteers, and the key newspaper endorsements, but as I learned during my football career at UC Berkeley, our team has to finish strong in the fourth quarter,” said Garamendi, the only candidate for Congress who has represented all corners of the 10th Congressional District. “We take nothing for granted and are fighting for every vote.”
The Garamendi headquarters in Walnut Creek and Fairfield will host volunteers daily from 10am to 8pm to phone bank and canvass. A complete schedule is below.
On Election Day, Tuesday, September 1st, Garamendi and supporters will watch returns come in beginning at 8:15 pm at the Walnut Creek headquarters. For reporters, please RSVP with Josh Franco at 562-688-4100.
