1. Residing in District 36

is not a pre-qualifier for attending. I live in the 31st, but am so impressed with Marcy and so tired of Jane Harman, decided to help out Marcy. So, just plan on coming about halfway between Pasadena and downtown, right off the 110. Not so much traffic on Sunday. Breakfast.:donut:

2. Sunday night update

Had a great time today - Marcy, her campaign manager and about 20 folks showed up. We had a nice spread - pancakes, sausages, lots of fresh fruit and juice, bagels, cream cheese, lox, and COFFEE.

I'd say at least 5 CA districts were represented around the L.A. area, and this was everyones' first time meeting Marcy. Folks, SHE IS AWESOME! Very gracious, very down to earth and super smart. To say she'd be an improvement over Harman is the understatement of the year. She let it be known that Harman does not get out into her district to meet and greet people, and that's how Marcy expects to win. She especially wants to grab tons of early vote-by-mail ballots.

I mentioned that I live in a "safe" district (31) with Xavier Becerra who keeps getting re-elected without breaking a sweat because he's so admired. And I challenged everyone there to host a house party for Marcy. 3 people agreed to do it, and with a year to go, hopefully, there will be more and more. It's so simple - we can get rid of Harman and get Marcy in - a win/win.
