In Search of God and the comedic nature of the cosmic quest.

Hey, so I am very psyched to be coming back to the Bay Area, Dec. 11th (right after my Showtime special taping in LA! ), specifically to launch and workshop my new show about... God at La Peña. Not God "at" La Peña, per se. Although, I am sure God would love La Peña, or does, and thank God for La Peña, while I'm at it, but what I mean is that I am doing the show at La Peña, and God and you are invited.

And I am sharing the evening with the wonderfully talented Alicia Dattner, who will be performing excerpts from her show "Eat, Pray, Laugh," which won best female solo show at the Fringe Festival last year.

Note: I'm looking for religious leaders from all faiths and traditions, religious studies professors and scholars, theologians, etc. to attend and participate in an open forum at the show. Must have sense of humor! Repeat, the invitation is for all faiths, beliefs, traditions or lack thereof: Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Mormon, Buddhist, Santeria, Scientology, Wiken, Druid, Jedi, you name it. Also interested in any professors, grad students doing research on neurology of belief, relationships between theology and science, etc.

1. Sorry I missed this one. Did you have it videotaped?

I want to do performances.  Anybody know fun, absurd,
intelligent, paradoxical, and self directed other directing
acting craft coaches, or classes that are progressive and like
to explore humanity and its drives and decisions?   I'd like
to do some work in that area and perform it.  I am thinking
about some classes here in San Francisco, but I don't want to
get bogged down by technique studies as much as really work on
pieces.  Does Z Theater still do those kind of workshops?  
Thanks for the inspiration.  I bet your show was great.  If
you do it again, let me know and if I can videotape it for
documentary purposes if nothing else.
