GOP Loses More Ground in OC Voter Registration

Over the past eight years, the Republican Party has gone from having about half of Orange County's 1.5 million registered voters to just over 43 percent, according to a report from the California Secretary of State's office.

Meanwhile, the numbers of registered Democrats and voters who decline to state a party affiliation continue to inch up.

OC has been a hotbed of the GOP for as long as I can remember!

2. It doesn't surprise me. I live here and it's changing.

Many people have moved here from other states and countries, and there's a lot more Dems here than before. As well, I think some people have moved out...I know several people (Republican) who have moved to Texas and Arizona. Other than that, I do think people are waking up slowly here. And the decline-to-state voter numbers are growing a lot.

3. W are closing in on 525,000 registered Democrats!

The only California county w/ more registered Democrats is Los Angeles!

Now all we have to do is get them to VOTE! Many Democrats are still operating w/ the mindset that we are far outnumbered so voting is a waste. If we can get them to vote we could actually win! We have been making a big push for Dems to vote by mail.
