Fresno has been ruled by neo-cons, teabagger (Freepers) types for the last 25 years.. I think Fresno has for the last 10 years been slowly waking up. From "Peace Fresno" to SEIU.. to the HotelWorkers and the resurgence of UFW, and May 1st Immigrants Human Rights.. hopefully with the WE ARE WON.. the AFL-CIO will join in and also the non-union workers will also join in solidarity. The workers of Fresno need to take back their city.
If you are in the Central Valley.. please take all your friends and family and join the march in Fresno on Monday. Show the Powers that be.. that you are Speaking OUt. Push back the neo-con machine.
Dr. King was in Memphis on April 4, 1968, to support the collective bargaining rights of sanitation workers when he was assassinated.
Workers in Wisconsin and around the U.S. are now waging that same battle for their rights, and people across the nation are marking the anniversary of Dr. King’s death with a massive day of protest. Practically the entire progressive movement has joined in. Here is the local info: Fresno "WE ARE ONE" march
