First caller was a Paulbot who wanted to know if the Rep knew about a "secret $1.2 billion bailout" of the banks. :tinfoilhat:
The Rep's first survey question was "What do you think the super committee should focus on? Creating jobs, raising revenue, or cutting government services?"
Earth to Becerra: While creating jobs is a laudable goal, the Cat Food Committee is not tasked with it. You don't suppose that got thrown in there because the town hall took place right after Obama's speech, now do you? And it got 76 percent of the vote!
Speaking of which, even no-brainers like "Do you support or oppose ending the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy?" got about 10 percent oppose, which translates into about 20 RW trolls on the cal. Hope they got paid well. :eyes:
