Several inform events in Fresno, 9/11-9/14. 9/11 Truth and Citizens United vs FEC
If you have never seen the videos produced by Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, I hope you’ll go to one of the two showing in Fresno this week. They are organized by We Are Change Fresno and are cosponsored by Peace Fresno and the Fresno Center for Nonviolence.

Also this week, David Cobb, a national spokesman for the movement to curtail the power of corporations will speak in Fresno. I expect this to be a very powerful and motivating event.

All of the events are free.

Sunday, September 11, 2 p.m.
We Are Change Fresno is organizing a presentation of “9/11: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out.” This informative and newly released film was recently produced by a nonprofit association of architects and engineers calling for a new, independent 9/11 investigation. This important event will be held at the Fresno County Public Library, Downtown, 2420 Mariposa St. Fresno Ca. 93721, Sarah McCardle Room. Fresno CA 93720. This event is co-sponsored by the Fresno Center for Non Violence and Peace Fresno. Video repeated on September 14 with a speaker and Q&A, see the September 14th calendar listing.

Tuesday, September 13, 7 - 9 p.m. (No Peace Fresno meeting)
Forum “Creating Democracy and Challenging Corporate Rule,” National Move to Amend www.MoveToAmend.org spokesman David Cobb will help local residents understand the history behind the recent U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Citizens United v. FEC that opened the floodgates to unlimited corporate spending on elections and how they can work to abolish “Corporate Personhood” and reestablish a government of, by, and for the people. Wesley United Methodist Church, 1343 E. Barstow Avenue, Fresno. This is a free event. For more information, email the local group at movetoamendfresno@hotmail.com.

Wednesday, September 14, 3-3:30 p.m.
On the Fresno Center for Nonviolence “Stir it Up” monthly radio show on KFCF 88.1 FM Richard Stone will talk with Maia Ballis about life at Sun Mountain after Elfie’s death a year ago, and reflect back to some of his wild and wonderful doings. Call-ins are welcome at 559-266-8888. For information call (559)237-3223.

Wednesday, September 14, 6:45 p.m.
We Are Change Fresno presentation of “9/11: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out.” This well researched, easy to understand new film was produced by a nonprofit association of architects and engineers and calls for a new, independent 9/11 investigation. There are interviews with many experts that refute the official ‘explanation’ of the destruction of the three massive steel framed buildings on Sept 11, 2001. A Q&A session will follow with Dennis Peyton, a California registered Civil Engineer. Woodward Park Regional Library, Meeting Room, 944 E. Perrin Ave. Fresno Ca. 93720. This event is co-sponsored by the Fresno Center for Non Violence and Peace Fresno.
