For those who get KQED (PBS Channel 9)
This evening (Feb 19th) at 8:00 the movie, "Broadcast News," Paddy Chayefsky's ferociously satiric look at the declining quality of TV news in America, is being aired.

Remember, "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take it anymore!!"

1. I grew up with that channel
I can still remember how ANGRY I would become when right in the middle of a Sesame Steet skit the program would be interrupted by some bun-haired, librarian looking woman in a call center conducting a fund-raising drive, "kids go and get your Mommies and Daddies..." Ooooh! I realize PBS is underfunded, but must they interrupt Sesame Street and the Electric Company while the kids are watching it!
