8. I'm a Miles supporter

I have tried not to be obnoxious about it. Your guy won. I was pretty confident that he would. I didn't support Miles because I thought he had a strong likelyhood of beating the party machine and big money. I supported Miles because I think that he is the better, more qualified candidate, and the one who more closely reflects my values and beliefs. Nevertheless I do plan on supporting and voting for the nominee.

I do hope that we're not going to see a bunch of sore winners and gloating on here. That isn't really helpful to anyone, least of all to Ken Salazar and the possibility of winning a Senate seat for the Democrats.

I will take down my offensive Mike Miles sig when I get around to it.

Like you, I voted for Salazar because he was the more practical choice. The major problem with such a late primary is that the rifts tend to get really large and it makes it harder to get behind the nominee. Gloating also causes this. I do like a lot of what Miles stood for too, though the Seabiscut reference was a little over the top. I also liked Salazar and felt that he was the more electable candidate. Petty bickering is not going to help us.

I voted for Ken. But the Mike folks always posted cogent postings. I hope that some day very soon we'll have the pleasure of electing him to another office. Why not to a Congressional seat if not to a high local office?
