http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,1413,36~64~2362057,00.html Republican U.S. Senate candidate Pete Coors' beer company has eliminated 900 North American jobs under his leadership during the past decade.
The businessman-turned-politician has promised on the campaign trail to take his job-creating skills to Washington.
But Adolph Coors Co. annual reports show that the company has cut more American jobs than it created since Coors became chief executive of its operating division, Coors Brewing Co., in December 1992.
"When I said I was a job creator, I knew this was going to come up," said Coors, now chairman of both companies and currently on a leave of absence to campaign. "When you look at the numbers in the reports, they don't tell the whole story."
