Colorado's Police and firefighters endorse Ken Salazar.
Tuesday, September 7, 2004

Denver, CO – Ken Salazar, Colorado Attorney General and US Senate candidate, stood up for Colorado’s first responders today, surrounded by police and firefighters on the west steps of the State Capitol. Before unveiling his plan to properly equip and train our first responders, Salazar was endorsed by Colorado firefighters and police.

"The Firefighters’ endorsement of Ken Salazar for U.S. Senate was an easy one,” said Randy Atkinson, President Colorado Professional Fire Fighters. “Ken has shown throughout his tenure as our Attorney General that Fire Fighters and Police Officers are the front line of Homeland Defense. Ken will fight for the tools and training we need to keep the citizens of Colorado, and its First Responders safe."

2. I would bet a hell of a lot more.
Salazar is more trusted and he has a proven record. All Coors has is his name all over a bunch of beer. Salazar's positives are way higher than Coors' too.

6. Well 2002 was not a good year.
People were drinking the kool-aid a lot more. That is why I think Salazar has a better shot. People are extremely dissatisfied now.
