We are currently organizing a Rock the Vote Concert for September 24th, here in Fort Collins at the Aggie theater. It is a non-partisan event aimed at registering the young people of Fort Collins to vote (as well as actually getting them to vote on November 2nd and if they do register, they will be included in the GOTV effort!). We welcome everyone who wants to help our campaign, as well as local volunteers who are working in their local precincts for all candidates and want to include Salazar information. (Including our neighbors in Loveland and Estes Park!) We ask that you bring a snack to share with ten people and share your love. There will be a representative there from the Renewable Energy Initiative that will be on the ballot in November. Come educate yourself on the November ballot, share your concerns and meet others from your community! Angie is walking somewhere near you....so come spread the word. Walking precincts with Angie is an invaluable way to help her campaign. Tuesday, August 31st we are meeting at the Southeast corner of Troutman and Shields at 5pm (Troutman is the between Horsetooth and Harmony on Shields). Wednesday, September 1st we are meeting at the Northeast corner of Richmond and Horsetooth at 5pm (Richmond is the first right after Shields going West on Horsetooth). Thursday, September 2nd we are meeting at the corner of Hull and Taft at 5pm (Hull is the first left after Drake going South on Taft).
