I met Ken Salazar today.

I was interning at his campaign office for the first day today and I was talking to someone who showed me around and Ken came into the office to get something and he shook my hand and said "Hi. Ken Salazar" I introduced myself and as he was going out he extended his hand to me and I shook his hand after I put the water bottle I was holding in the other hand. :)

1. I met a woman who used to work with him . . .

. . . and she gave him a ringing endorsement. That says a lot to me.

2. Wazee Supper Club

I met him there before we walked to Coors Field to watch Opening Day. He was very down to earth, not like most pols I know.

I also met Hickenlooper that day and liked him too.
