Salazar ahead by 12 points!
Too bad the latest national polls show Colorado as being solidly Bush. I thought Salazar's coattails could give us both the Presidency and the Senate back.

Oh well, there are still a few weeks left.

1. Most polls show Bush and Kerry tied in CO
That Pueblo poll was BS.

2. We could very well see reverse coattails in this scenario.
Where Kerry wins Colorado because of the uptick in Hispanic turnout.

With Gore states + New Hampshire (which I think we're sure to win) + Colorado (only 5EVs due to referendum) = 269EVs

Not good enough, but getting closer.

3. We will win Colorado!!
There are so many people registering to vote that the registrars are swamped. Those new registerees are not signing up to vote for busholini inc.

4. Good news, but this will be a tight race
Coors has a lot of money for attack ads, and the state still has a Republican lean.

5. The Colorado Victory 2004 campaign is working very hard...
and the numbers are tight, tight, tight. BUT....

I am having a hell of a time finding people who are voting for *; I'm working daily with a group of republicans who are disgusted with * and are supporting Kerry because they consider him far more economically and ethically responsible - and I'm working with them at Dem HQ; I've talked to several hundred people who voted * in 2000 and are voting Kerry this year....

and....

I've registered 100+ college student voters and 75+ first time other voters and many cell phone only voters.

And I don't feel like I've done all that much.

So.... How's Colorado doing?

Working hard.
