About the recent Rocky Mountain Nazi poll.....
In case you haven't seen or heard about it.....

President Bush has pulled ahead of Sen. John Kerry in Colorado on the strength of increased popularity among women, according to a Rocky Mountain News/News 4 poll.

Bush leads by 5 points, just outside the poll's margin of error and up from a 1-point edge last month. His advantage includes a plurality of women, a change from previous polls that showed female voters preferred Kerry.

Would you be surprised if I told you that this "poll" was conducted by a large repuke propaganda firm....

Lori Weigel is a Partner with Public Opinion Strategies, the largest Republican polling firm in the nation, with offices in Washington, Denver and Los Angeles.

These assholes missed their calling. They were born 70 years too late...and in the wrong country.....

All the polls are jive, anyway, because they exclude cell phone users. Many young adults today have only a cell phone and no landline phone.

(Edited for boneheadedness: Sorry, this was supposed to have been a response to the one about pos.org.)

5. This is NOT a polling organization
They are bought and paid for by the repukes and their only purpose is propaganda. How many polls are referred to as "successful"??

Take a moment and contact the "news" organizations that are reporting this bullshit story and ask them why they left out this little bit of important information.

6. The Coor's/ Salazar poll Today is also skewed.
I e-mailed Lynn Bartels (author) and asked for the sample breakdown, since it looked fishy, and wasn't in her article...she gave it to me.

38% R, 35% D, 27% Independent.

Considering this is a GOP heavy state, I can't say whether or not they oversampled Rs in this one.

The poll results were Coors 45%, Salazar 40%.

7. More BS
The numbers she gave you are fairly in line with current voter registration numbers. As of 10/15/2004 it is: 36% R, 33% I, and 31% D.

But this is NOT a poll. It is 100% pure propaganda put out by the Rocky Mountain Nazis to influence "public opinion".

Check out what this "pollster" Lori Weigel was saying back in April...

Still, some say Kerry would be stupid to fight for Colorado.

That includes Lori Weigel, a partner with Public Opinion Strategies of Denver. She conducted the News/News 4 poll that found Bush leading Kerry 49 to 40, with a 4.9 percentage-point margin of error. Ralph Nader polled 4 percent.

Weigel said the results make a good case for Kerry campaigners to dodge the state.

"They've got much more important fish to fry," she said.
