Colorado Secretary of State Donetta Davidson issued strict guidelines for poll watchers across the state today, limiting each party to one person per station and banning outside groups from sending out teams of lawyers to monitor the closely watched election.
Among the new rules Davidson said she is still considering is a ban on the use of cell phones by those monitoring the election.
"We'll contact our county clerks and discuss this issue," Davidson said, noting cell phones can be used to take pictures and record conversations surreptitiously.
Davidson said there has been a sharp spike in the number of poll watchers since 2000, with more attention paid to individual voters because of the legal challenges that followed the last presidential election.http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,1413,36~64~2483340,00.htmlThe state gop has 4,000 people ready to work GOTV. I guess BO doesn't want the Democrats to have any kind of "unfair" advantage. This shit really pisses me off. She decides this bullshit.... this close to the election.
