So...the way I personally feel now is the way I felt before the Broncos played Green Bay in the 1998 Superbowl.
I was feeling that all the pundits were wrong, and all scenarios pointed to the Broncos winning. I occasionally had some momentary doubts, but that would quickly be replaced by certainty.
The Broncos slogged their way through their regular season, while our AFC West opponents were headed to an easy bye week play off schedule (KC Chiefs) The Broncos had several excruciating bad moments on their way to a wild card slot.
Kerry got lost in the shuffle during the lead up to the primaries, while Howard Dean (whom I love, unlike the way I feel about the Chiefs B-)) was anointed the primary "winner" before the primaries began. (Kind of the way everyone assumed KC was on the way to the conference championship, while Denver was disregarded)
However, when the game (primaries) happened, the fighter showed up. And continued to win and fight, just like Denver, battling from a wild card position, winning tough road games, and on playing in the BIG GAME, overcame the all the dire predictions, and WON.
Now, Kerry is in the big game, the pundits are predicting at worse a loss and at best a tie...we all know, he'll win, and win big...
IMHO..MKJ
BTW...Chiefs and Packers fans...I would root for the Chiefs in any Superbowl (always good to see the AFC West represented) but not until then. The Chiefs are always a worthy opponent.
I like the Packers and feel their team is the best of all things football..and I really like Favre...I loved the conference playoff game in 1996 when the Packers beat the 49ers.
