Why not smear Owens?
We should be shoving his cheating antics down the bible freaks ass till we get him impeached.

1.  Works for me. If a blow job is bad, then having a concubine is worse.
Make 'em live up to their standards.

Perhaps with the Ds in control, we can.

2. My reasoning...
Dems have tons of GOOD reasons for wanting him gone that don't involve porking secretaries. The repugs want to make morality such an issue than they should if we hammer them with his affair.

3. Local Media Sucks!
Hopefully Westword or someone national will cover the story of Owens and his indiscretions.

If it was enough to keep him from running for Senate, it should be revealed.

8. Westword already has.
Although not to any great degree. Check their archives.

4. The state Dems have actually done a good job of body slamming him.
He is losing his effectiveness> I am hoping that they will do more damage to him over the next couple of years. But they may have made a deal with him where they don't reveal any additional information so long as he does not run for another office and they allow him to finish his term. I am hypothesizing.

7. I agree, not much need...
Hickenlooper seems to have made a big impression. Owens will be out the door next election. You know I've posted on the general politics board about this in the past, but most the time Colorado only goes repub for governor when there is a gay rights issue on the ballot. At least in Colorado, Repubs mostly show up and vote for President and anti-gay rights or anti-abortion rights. Notice, we passed the cleaner fuel issue this year, the mass transit issue this year, and we kicked Pete Coors (environmental polluter that he is) back to the brewery!

6. It's past time to blow the lid off this story
It's been buried far too long.
