sneaky republicans
Edited on Mon Feb-28-05 05:18 PM by Damien
I was looking for the state gov site (which i did find), but the following link was the first to pop up on google.

http://www.coloradosenate.com/

It's the republican site -- but that's not in the name. Sneaky -- do we (dems) have anything like that to push our propaganda on a site that tries to look like an official one? Not saying we should, it's really underhanded, but I'm curious.

I don't know how I feel about that -- a lot of people might look at it, not notice the disclaimer, or not really get it, and only see dem-bashing articles. I didn't see it at first, and was wondering why there was just dem bashing partisan stuff all over it.

It reminds me of this situation:
whitehouse.gov (real site)
whitehouse.org (parody site -- really funny BTW)
whitehouse.com (porn site -- I've heard -- no, really)

1. Here's another one that always pisses me off
http://www.majorityleader.gov/ :puke:

Tom Delay's position in the House is a POLITICAL position, bot a CONSTITUIONAL one like Speaker of the House. What he gets a .gov website that glorifies him PAID FOR WITH MY TAXES is just WASTE, FRAUD, and ABUSE in my book.

I'm sure if the (D)'s were in charge the Republicans would be foaming at the mouth over such a website.

2. It sure is sneaky, especially for those not familiar with internet
extensions.

I googled "Colorado Democratic Senator website" & the third site down was this: http://www.coloradodems.org/ It's totally upfront about who/what they represent.

Then I googled "Colorado Republican Senator website" & the first hit was the one you posted.
