Bush to give Air Force commencement speech
I was speaking briefly with a progressive friend last night who said Bush will be in CO Springs in a few weeks for the commencement of AFA cadets. I didn't get a chance to get more info about it. Anyone here know what's going on? I'm hoping for a great protest!

Maybe he'll fly in on Air Force One and wear his flyboy suit again.

2. Will they chant "4 more years?"
Will troops in uniform chant "four more years" and conduct a political rally on duty on federal property in violation of the United States Code like they did in Colorado?

3. It's Happening on June 2nd
The Chamber of Commerce was distributing complimentary tickets to attend the graduation - they were cleaned out in less than an hour, so there will be al lot of brainless dittoheads in attendance.

Anti-Bush protestors have already announced that they will be picketing at the main entrance to the Academy (at the north end of Academy Blvd). I can't attend because it's a work day, but it would be nice to get as many protestors out there as possible - let the media see what John Q. Public thinks of Pretzelboy.

4. yup, can't wait to see our display of military firepower!
of course events like this always bring a week of jets buzzing over town rattling windows.

the pikes peak peace and jsutice comission is organizing the protest again. what i don't get is they say it will be smaller than the pre war protest last year where they gassed people trying to leave?

5. Problems with that location.
There's no where to park out there - at least, not that I remember. The parking is within the grounds of the Academy. This could limit attendance. Obviously it's too far to walk. Any ideas?

6. I Saw Posters About This At Yesterday's State Convention
The Pikes Peak Justice & Peace Commission is organizing a protest outside the entrance tot he Air Force Academy, where the public will see it and Pretzelboy will have to pass it to get in to the Academy from the airport.

Here's a link to their site:

http://www.pikespeakjusticeandpeace.org/

PS - There are many places to park in that area, such as the parking lot of the Chapel Hills Mall.
