Non-Political Inquiry re: Colorado Springs |
|
Thanks for any help!
In 1979-1980 I lived in Colorado Springs and my parents took me to an alpine slide that was right in the area. I know it was in the Colorado Springs area because we did Cheyeene Mountain Zoo and the Will Rogers Memorial all in the same day. It wasn't the alpine slide that's up in Steamboat, I'm positive of it.
I'm going to be back in Colorado Springs on a vacation in May and was wondering if the slide is still there? If so, I would appreciate its name and tel# if possible. I can't find information about it anywhere. I hope it's not gone.
Thanks again for any help!

2. I don't think it was on Pike's Peak. |

It wasn't part of Santa's Workshop.

|
...they closed the ski area at the Boradmoor because it was on the shady side of the mountain and got too icy.
