Focus On This - Let Ken Salazar Know We Support Him and the Filibuster

This is important to all Coloradans so please read and
take the two-minute action that I suggest at the end
of this note.

Focus on the Family is launching an attack against Ken
Salazar (and others) for supporting the right to
filibuster. And this morning, Ken fought back and
said, "I do think that what has happened here is there
has been a hijacking of the U.S. Senate by what I call
the religious right wing of the country," and he named
Focus on the Family in particular. A full article is

If you are thinking "right on, Ken!" then let him
know. Go to http://salazar.senate.gov/ and go to
'contact us' and fill out the very simple form to tell
Ken you are behind him on this one. He needs to know
that he is representing his constituents.

He said his position on the up or down vote has changed. "You come here as a new senator, and you learn." Learning, acknowledging new information, imagine that.

He may not always vote the way one would wish, but many of us here disagree, so how could he vote to please us all? I think he does the best job he can, and tries to be intellectually honest about it.
