Today I'm writing to you from Washington, D.C. where I am three days into a very exciting trip that is really putting this campaign on the map. I've met with many distinguished leaders in the Democratic Party, and some surprising folks in the Republican Party. They all have two things in common - they all want to see Tom Tancredo OUT of Congress, and they are all excited about this campaign!

During this trip, we have really caught the attention of the National Party and Democrats in Congress. Many national organizations have also pledged their support for our campaign. Watch for visits to Colorado from some exciting names to benefit my campaign and to work for the entire Colorado Democratic ticket!

We've made tremendous strides in this campaign in recent weeks and we need YOU to keep that momentum going. I hope that you will join us on August 16th at 4:30 p.m. at the Cool River Café in Greenwood Village as we welcome Virginia Governor and Democratic Presidential hopeful Mark Warner to Colorado. We are also preparing to take our campaign to the air waves. In order to reach people across the district, we will soon begin running commercials on the radio and television. Unfortunately, this will be one of the largest expenses in the campaign, so please take a moment to Donate so that we can let the people of CD6 know who I am and what I stand for.

Stay tuned for a bold new look to our website. We have expanded our Issues page, and have added a new page dedicated to the immigration issue. You can also check out our page where we outline some of Tom Tancredo's more extreme votes and ridiculous quotes. We are going to take him on aggressively! As always, we need your support.
