So on my way home from Silverthorne/Breckenridge
today.. I see messes alongside I-70.. and I see two "Adopt-a-Highway" for Clear Creek Republicans and High County Republicans.

Some value.

1. Call them and complain. And call CDOT about it.
That's their job! If they want the publicity of cleaning highways, they gotta do the work, or CDOT will pull the sign.

2. were there any justice
they'd be wearing orange jumpsuits and shackles, cleaning the highway right of ways for $2 a day with an armed guard watching them.

3. I think I saw one for Jay Fawcett on I-25.
Through El Paso County and Colorado Springs it has been named the Ronald Reagan highway. When Reagan died veritable shrines were made of the signs identifying the highway as Reagan's. Ribbons, flags, notes, plastic flowers galore abounded. Gack! I do find it ironic that progressives pick up the trash that our "conservative" majority deems fit to litter their hero and idol's stretch of roadway.

And west of Poncha Springs going up Monarch Pass there was, and perhaps still is, a stretch that was covered by a progressive group, maybe Howard Dean supporters. I forget which group exactly, it was before the 2004 elections.
