Fawcett Leading Lamborn in CD-5?

According to polling results from Democrat Jay Fawcett, not only can he upset Republican Doug Lamborn in CD-5...he's leading by a wide margin.

As Colorado Confidential reports:


Jay Fawcett’s campaign manager momentarily paused after rattling off the results of what she describes as the most comprehensive poll conducted among potential voters in Colorado’s overwhelmingly Republican 5th Congressional District.
• 41 percent were likely to vote for Fawcett, the Democrat.
• 28 percent were likely to vote for Republican Doug Lamborn.
• Another 28 percent are undecided.

“I kid you not,” said Wanda James.

4. Maybe because he isn't campaigning strongly?

I saw a very LARGE number of stickers and signs for Mike Miles here two years ago.

I've seen ONE sticker for Winter and two yard signs.

Not a good omen for what is being done here.

Too bad.

and some letters in the paper, besides some money, of course.

6. Well, I just saw someone getting gas with a Winter sticker on car,

and told him it was the first one I saw, thanked him for doing his part, and he acted offended. Said he was the regional captain, or sumfin.

So, I guess I wasn't supposed to say anything.

7. Sadly, it is a problem for all of us.

Perhaps he took it as a heads up. They need to get busy, time is short. Except for the immigration issue, Tancredo has nothing.

And, was he in Fort Collins?
