Info on how to replace a damaged license plate?
I'm looking to replace a license plate that was damaged from the recent snowstorm.

Any ideas? I looked all over the DMV.

1. The DMV has a form to replace damaged or lost plates
It should be on the web site. If it's not, maybe you have to visit the DMV in person.

I don't know where you are in Colorado, but I found this on the Weld County DMV page. I would assume that the process is the same throughout the state.

What do I do if my license plate is lost, stolen or damaged?

To replace license plates, you must bring your registration and any remaining plate (for example, if only one plate in a set of two is lost, stolen, or damaged) to our office. The fee is $5.00 plus material fees of up to $3.54 to replace regular plates and $14.00 plus material fees of up to $5.36 to replace designer plates. With personalized plates both plates need to be surrendered, otherwise you will need to wait 12 months to apply for new plates. In the case of a lost or stolen plate, notify a City, County or State law enforcement agency, and bring in a copy of the report to our office.

Good luck! :hi:

4. Go to the DMV in person and...
1-take a number
2-wait in line for 45 mins
3-step up to window when your number is called
4-greet bureaucrat politely
5-receive deadpan stare
6-avoid staring at dangling drool on bureacrats chin
7-tell them what you need
8-receive admonishment regarding your incorrect choice of line to stand in
9-take a new number
10-move to proper line
11-wait in proper line for 1hr 15 mins
12-step up to window
13-shake off ill-feelings and greet 2nd bureaucrat politely
14-receive deadpan stare
15-ignore your morbid curiosity at the fact that the 2nd bureaucrat also drools and avoid asking obvious question, "what's up with that?!?"
16-receive admonishment regarding your failure to arrive at window with proper forms completed
17-receive instructions on said forms
18-step aside for next in line
19-storm out of DMV
20-abandon vehicle
21-walk, hitch or take bus to nearest tavern
22-drink heavily, you ain't drivin anyway
