Memorial Day Peace Vigil in Arvada

This Saturday, May 26, 2007 is Memorial Day weekend. The regular Colorado Citizens for Peace vigil will be held as a special 'rememberance' for those who have died in war.

The vigil this Saturday will continue for an extra hour, running from noon until 2:00 P.M.

As was done last year, 100 crosses will be placed in the lawn as a 'Memorial in Rememberance' for all those who have fallen as a result of the violence and destruction of war -- and as a reminder of the teriffic human cost of the current Iraq war and occupation.

Please join us to promote peace.
