volunteering at the 2008 Democratic Convention

does anyone have any info on volunteering? My guy and I thought that we would take a weeks vacation and be part of history in the making.

I have sent some emails off, with no replies.

I really do hate to sound like the disembodied voice that puts you on hold, but I live in Colorado and only yesterday learned that the official "countdown to the convention" event will be later this month. Keep trying, and don't change your vacation plans just yet!

that makes sense then, as to why no one has replied to my queries. No problem, I can't even bid my annual for next year until January, but I have to grab it quick, or I won't get the time off.

But I do live in a Western suburb, so possibly I can go during the evening if I have to work. This should be exciting. I was in SFO when the Democratic convention of I think 1984 was happening, but I really didn't care about politics then.

I don't know if this is a question anymore but I know that you
can contact many of the non-profits in denver and they are
signing people up to be volunteers. Groups like NARAL,
Colorado Progressive Coalition, Sierra Club, CoPIRGs...etc
