Colorado Single-payer Petition - we need you

As you probably know, the Colorado 208 Commission that was appointed by the Colorado State Legislature is now considering 5 proposals to cover everyone in Colorado for health care. One of these proposals - the Single-Payer proposal actually covers everyone, provides better health care and does this for less money than we are paying now by using the money currently going to health insurance administrative expenses and instead actually provide health care with it.

YES! I SUPPORT SINGLE-PAYER UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE FOR ALL COLORADO

The single-payer Colorado Health Services Program (CHSP) encompasses a broader range of coverage than is currently available through any single private insurance plan. It eliminates wasteful administrative spending by replacing our current fragmented, multiple-insurance model with equitable health care access. CHSP provides:

- systemic health care reform
- quality health coverage for all
- a comprehensive, public-payer / private-provider system
- choice of providers and hospitals
- a single, statewide risk pool for all residents
- integration of financing, administration and healthcare electronic information

We petition the SB 208 Colorado Blue Ribbon Commission for Health Care Reform to recommend, and the Colorado Legislature to enact, the Colorado Health Services Program.

I love you people. Thanks for making some great solutions to
healthcare problems here. Great question at the Progressive
States Network Panel a few weeks back... about non-profits not
getting on board. Could you post the answer to that?

Also, who are the people not getting behind Single-payer? have
you done any research as to their reasoning? I'd love to know
more aboure that... besides big insurance companies and the
people who benefit from them...
