Last I heard, Ken Salazar was ahead in the Senate polls and John Salazar is ahead in his house race. Though, I heard Thomas was behind by 7 a month ago for CD 7 and I have no data on Conti.

Salazar out front, poll says

Coors has slight GOP edge; AG tops all Senate matchups
By Mark P. Couch
Denver Post Staff Writer

Monday, June 28, 2004 -

State Attorney General Ken Salazar would defeat either of the Republican candidates running for Colorado's open U.S. Senate seat if the election were today, according to a poll for The Denver Post.

Salazar leads brewery executive Pete Coors and former Congressman Bob Schaffer in potential head-to-head contests this November.

But in a battle between the best-known candidates - Salazar and Coors - the lead of 7 percentage points is close enough to make the race highly competitive.

Against Schaffer, Salazar leads by 14 percentage points.
