ghouliani to visit loveland and windsor this weekend
get ready to hear the chants of 9/11, 9/11, 9/11 :puke:

Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani's visit to Loveland and Windsor this weekend could be a sign that candidates are thinking Northern Colorado is something more than that place north of Denver.

Giuliani will come to Loveland on Friday night. On Saturday, he'll meet the public at a Loveland coffee shop before attending two private fund-raising events in Windsor.

He is the first major presidential candidate to visit Northern Colorado during the campaign.

"As candidates come through Colorado, I think there is more likelihood that Denver will not be the only stop and a greater chance that Northern Colorado and places like El Paso County (around Colorado Springs) will see more activity," Colorado Republican Chairman Dick Wadhams said.

2. that's interesting...
I worked a lot over the years up in the Johnstown, Windsor, Greeley area and found it to be a real pocket of rabid rightwingism, even worse than CO Springs in some ways.

If the Pukes hope to win in CO this time around they will need to get out their vote in those areas, so I'm not surprised by this.
