election was one of the most racist operations I've witnessed in a long time???

Conservatives are the masters of raising boogeymen. What happened this week in Greeley is disgusting.

Again, groups from outside the Greeley area influenced the voting. With Renfroe, it was fundies from the southern part of the state. This time, the people behind the slanderous mail campaign are still unidentified; they are using a spokesman in, of all places, Montana. And the mayor-elect states that he had nothing to do with the mailings, but he has yet to disagree with their content. Adding another layer to the many disturbing aspects, those who point out the hyper-racist machinations are accused of being "haters". Greeley has always been associated with the rather strong smell of cow poop. Clearly, the cows deserve an apology.

Did you know that Musgrave's campaign manager is working out of Montana?

Also, from what I've been able to gather, the D.A. in Greeley unsuccessfully prosecuted a woman who had delivered some dog poo to Musgrave, wrapped in one of Musgrave's own mailers; seems that said D.A. is (was?) Musgrave's local campaign chairman; he also spearheaded the effort to elect the new mayor.
