Newly appointed & infamous GOP state legislator kicks photographer.

This is an astonishing moment for Coloradoans because this representative of Colorado Springs is such a notorious jerk and his swearing in today was also controversial. It was strange to see him defend himself claiming that he was being bothered while he was praying (preying!). He kicks someone! How's that for a first-rate "christian!" 1. Douglas Bruce is an infamous in Colorado because of his Tabor Ammendment which ties state tax revenue increases to population growth and permanently reduces revenue when a recession hits. Tabor-style ammendments have appeared on many state election ballots across the nation in the past few years.

2. Douglas Bruce was recently appointed to the state legislature and today he took his oath of office: "Democrats accused him of wrongdoing for delaying his swearing-in until five days after the session started." "Bruce was chosen last month to fill a vacant House seat but waited to take the oath until Monday -- when the unexpired term will be more than half over -- so he will be eligible to serve eight more years under term limits, instead of six." Douglas Bruce has crusaded against government so here he is acting like a selfish politician. This is simply astonishing. These are only a few examples of the dubious record that Doug Bruce has created.

3. What a coincidence

I saw Douglas Bruce at a Colorado Springs restaurant a few years ago...and I wanted to kick him. Good thing I didn't give in (maybe). This man has been a black eye for Colorado Springs for over a decade...I'm glad he's gone, but I don't want him in Denver either.
