Personhood? I just stopped by their table outside of my grocery store..
How many signatures do they need to get this on a ballot? I asked the woman if this would mean than anyone having an abortion would be tried for murder she said yes...so I asked if the person would have to go to prison and she said "I don't know, we don't make the laws." I politely suggested that she consider what an appropriate prison term would be...

3. Ask her if she is willing to spend state money to raise an unwanted child.
Or state funds to save the life of a woman who gets a bad back-alley abortion.

I think I'd go berserk if I saw someone with those petitions.

4. personhood and miscarraige
One unintended consequence of this bill would be in instances of miscarraige. Would these have to be investigated to make sure they weren't abortions in reality? What a double tragedy that would be if someone who miscarried, also has to go through investigation when grief over the loss is at it's worst.

5. funny, I did ask her that...I asked if an embryo was a person if a woman who miscarried would have
to file a death certificate. All she could say was that "We won't be making the laws." Hope this thing exposes their agenda..will be interesting to watch this fall.
