DU got credentialed - so I want to hold a *NATIONAL* DU meetup in August in Denver

We just have to figure out which restaurant to pick downtown.

I like Racine's, and it's a very popular restaurant, and I think they have a private party room... I need to check.

there is also places like the Rock Bottom Brewery (great fish and chips made of SALMON!) or maybe the Blue Bonnet cafe down on south Broadway. Cool- I would like to put a face with the screen names here. I don't know about you, but I already have a mental picture of many of the names here, although I'm probably waaay off base in my imagination.

7. The bummer part for me...

I work in production...the DNC means that I will most likely be working around the clock for several weeks. If we can pick a date sooner than later...I can make sure I have time off for the meetup...unless we have a function at the venue where I stage manage...The Fillmore. I have to be there for every event. First in...last out.

I know we are booked for several events.

I am thinking that the outskirts of Denver would be good for meeting; Denver is going to be a ZOO!!

I heard (being a postal employee) that the main Denver PO was going to be closed- they will open it in a different location, as traffic and logistics will just make it a feat for the trucks, etc. to get in. This is the location at 951 20th Street. This is unheard of- but so is having such an event in Denver.
