I'm IN!!!

Got comfirmation today that I'm in the on-call Convention volunteers on Wednesday the 27th. Probably won't be anything glamorous, but that's OK; just being part of it is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. Potential bonus: looks like I may have snagged an invite to a certain state's convention party that night---beer drinking at a place in LoDo until the wee hours.

Hope I have a chance to meet some of you DUers during the course of the week.....

I had to go downtown yesterday and i had no idea tents the size of football fields existed. Have you seen them? I was a little disappointed that there are no banners or something besides those tiny poll signs welcoming the DNC.

I assume that the street decorations are forthcoming.

Anybody else work in downtown Denver? The security measures in place next week at my workplace are really something.....
