I am proud, proud, proud of Colorado tonight

I'm so glad to see my home state join the wave. For all posterity whenever anybody talks about this historic election, they will see that the Centennial State, home of our nation's highest campaign office :), was on the right side of history. Hooray for Colorado!

Proud that Big Oil Bob got his ass handed to him

Proud that Betsy Markey beat out Marilyn Musgrave

And Damn Proud that Colorado turned BLUE for Obama

2. We DID it! Nearly everyone I know voluteered in some way...

I am very very proud of all of us, especially Coloradoan DUers!

Have a toast and a bit of time to celebrate and then onward,folks. Obama will need us to have his back! He will desperately need 8 years to make progress turning this sinking ship around....We will need to work towards that and maintain the ground troops.

3. Oh yeah!

What a delicious mix of laughter, tears and cheers. Not to mention the many happy dances! The delight in putting Udall in the Senate, the long overdue goodbye to Musgrave and hello to Markey, the overwhelming reaffirmation of Riesberg's solid service in the state legislature -- all delicious prelude to the sweet moment when the numbers tipped for Obama. We've got a whole lot of work yet to do, but at least we now have a team that will work on OUR behalf.

5. I knew we could do it.

I knew we could turn this state blue, I like to think I had something to do with that. I love finally being able to live in a blue state, im proud of my state.
