Salazar supporting Lieberman - Disgusting!
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1108/15551.html

Several top Democratic senators have launched a behind-the-scenes effort to save Sen. Joe Lieberman’s chairmanship, despite calls from a Democratic base seeking retribution for Lieberman’s vocal support of John McCain’s presidential campaign.

Sens. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), Ken Salazar (D-Colo.), Tom Carper (D-Del.) and Bill Nelson (D-Fla.) are all involved in the effort, according to top Senate Democratic aides. These four senators — along with other Lieberman allies — are reaching out to the rest of the Democratic Senate caucus to try to ensure Lieberman survives a secret ballot vote on whether to strip him of his chairmanship of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. . . .

2. Salazar has been a miserable sell-out....
... for a long time now.

Why do Coloradans keep voting for him?

8. Salazar was an improvement over his opponent...
Remember Pete Coors? :scared:

I'm wondering just what it will take to start a primary challenge for when he comes up for reelection in 2010...

11. You said it!!
I voted for him once and that was enough. I wished I hadn't wasted my timing giving him my support to begin with.

3. No surprise there
It's what I expected from him.

I just hope he has a viable opponent for the nomination next time around. If he's the nominee, I'll grit my teeth and vote for him, to keep the seat Democratic, but I'd much rather be voting for someone better.

6. Salazar stole Mike Miles' seat...
When Nightmare finally announced his retirement, it was a wide-open race, and Miles should have been our senator from Colorado, not Salazar.

I never liked Salazar because he's DLC, and the way he treated Miles was atrocious.

10. LOL!
Maybe Miles lost because his supporters were so disconnected from reality that they couldn't be taken seriously...

ps - the voters treated Miles pretty atrociously, too....

4. I always knew there was something fishy about Salazar....
I always got a bad vibe from him. Him and Lieberman need to go, they are nothing but a couple of forked tongue snakes in the grass in cahoots with the repukes.
