Suthers is pursuing this lawsuit, at taxpayer-expense, on behalf of the Bishops of the Catholic Church and Republican party extremists.
He claims to be against the health care reform bill because it requires most Americans to buy health insurance, but that is a lie.
He knows very well the bill contains a "religious conscience" exemption so that anyone who really, really doesn't want to see a doctor or go to a hospital can join a religion that opposes modern medicine, and therefore, be exempt from having to get health insurance.
And anyone can easily establish a religion (insert name here).
http://www.startchurch.com/http://www.irs.gov/charities/churches/index.htmlSuthers needs to be reminded that approx. 900,000 Colorado residents are uninsured. Many of us have been shut out out of the system because we have pre-existing conditions or because we can't afford the steep premiums charged by insurance companies. People are suffering and dying because they don't have access to health care.
The health care reform bill passed last Sunday provides numerous benefits and consumer protections to all of us. It needs to be supported and improved on, not overturned.
Who is paying for Suthers' health care insurance? The taxpayers of the State of Colorado! What a hypocrite he is!
