And I didn't want to trump your post, so I'll add this here (just posted it to GD):

Just got this email from the Bennet campaign, thought it was worth sharing. I took out the donation links, they didn't transfer in the cut and paste. But I did add a link for that purpose after the letter.

Last week, I sent Michael Bennet a $50 check with a letter telling my story. The folks on his campaign thought you might like to hear it, too.

My husband and I have had a tough year, but I know if we didn't have Senator Bennet fighting for us it could've been much, much worse. For us, the $50 contribution pushes the limits of our budget -- but tightening our belt for a month is easier to handle than the thought of Ken Buck representing Colorado in the Senate.

I want to ask you: What are you willing to give to make sure we keep a Senator who will work for us, no matter what?

(snip)

Let me tell you specifically how our lives have been impacted by Senator Bennet’s work.

I am retired on Social Security but not yet old enough for Medicare. My husband lost his job (quite unexpectedly) in April. Thanks to the Recovery Act COBRA subsidies we were able to continue our health insurance. Richard went back to work in June, and at least half of the jobs he's found were funded in part by the Recovery Act -- work that simply wouldn’t have been there if Senator Bennet hadn’t fought for it.

Also, with a daughter in college, the tax credit for tuition was an absolute godsend.

(snip)

I've been blessed with a tough family, and we're not easily frightened. Richard survived Vietnam, and our son survived the first Persian Gulf War. My mom was a Marine and both of our dads were also Marines. We are tough, loyal, hard working Americans who have given a great deal to our country, but because we are progressives, Ken Buck considers us a "threat" to the country. I will never forgive him for that statement and he scares me to death! He certainly won't represent us, or our interests, in Washington.

(snip)

I'm not ashamed to say we supported Andrew Romanoff in the primary, but we absolutely are voting for Michael now. There's too much at stake not to.

Thanks for listening to my story, and for helping us keep the Senator we need for Colorado.

Sincerely,

Pat Farmer
Grand Lake

2. Have you read this analysis of Amendment P?
http://www.tonysrants.com/colorado/colorado-amendment-p-q-and-r-not-all-are-as-easy-as-they-seem/

I always delve into who wants stuff. So I'm thinking this one over before I decide.

3. Hmmmmm
After looking thru this site and some other opinions posted there....

I think I'll stick with a Yes vote on Amendment P.

'Cause Ken Gordon told me to. :hi:

4. Yeah, I trust Ken.
He's my former state senator, and a very classy guy.
