Ken Salazar to campaign in area

DENVER - Ken Salazar, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, has scheduled appearances in Pueblo and Canon City today to encourage people to vote in the primary next Tuesday.

Salazar, who's running against Fountain educator Mike Miles, will be at the Fremont County Democratic headquarters, 721 Main St., at 3:30 p.m. and then will walk door to door to meet voters.

He travels to the Pueblo Democratic headquarters, 305 N. Santa Fe Ave., at 5:30 p.m. to do the same thing.

1. Better that we improve the infrastructure than...

...try to renegotiate historical compacts. Improving water measurement equipment and improving the paths of the water in the state where possible would be easier than getting other states to amend agreements.
