John Larson forum on SS privatization
From an email from Larson:

I am writing to invite you to attend one of three public, town hall-style forums this month on possible changes to the Social Security program.

The purpose of these forums is to discuss President Bush's plan to privatize portions of Social Security and what those changes could mean for future retirees. The President's plan would divert money from the Social Security system and allow workers to invest it in private accounts. This issue has the potential to affect the retirements of generations of American workers and I would like to take this opportunity to share my views with you, as well as hear your opinions and perspectives.

As a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over any Social Security reform legislation that will be introduced, I believe that it is critical that we engage in this discussion.

Here are the dates, times and locations for the three forums. I have also included links to web sites that contain directions and campus maps.
